Introduction

Landforms not only represent the geographical make up of the land but also create a feeling of uniqueness for its inhabitants. Australia is one of the oldest landmasses on earth and has numerous iconic landforms. Australia has a very strong sense of identity regarding its landforms and landscapes. Aboriginal Dreaming Stories explore the creation of people, animals and land. Their belief is that people were born out of the earth, the mountains and the sky and will always have a strong connection to it. The connection to land has remained the central focus of Aboriginal culture.
