The film follows seven-year-old Ricco Japaljarri Martin through a regular day in his life, beginning and ending in Hidden Valley. Originally developed in 1970 to house Aboriginal people visiting Alice Springs from various bush communities, the town camps have now become permanent residences to many families, and are generally overcrowded, rundown and rife with poverty.
